I have had the FCB1010 for some time and it has been a godsend, but it is a pain to programme. I have invested in a 2nd hand UNO chip which has made the two volume pedals workable. I have set one to control overall Cantabile volume, but the leaves any internal sounds on my MX61 unaffected. How do I get the second volume pedal to send CC7 messages to my MX61? (PS I cannot use the UNO software as I do not have the licence number for the chip s it was second hand).
Iāve been using the free FCB 1010 Editor by Ed Dixon for years, which makes it incredibly easy to program everything. Unfortunately I canāt seem to find an active download link for you. I donāt use the UNO chip but it will definitely program that as well.
You might also try searching deeper for āFCB1010 Editor Mountain Systemsā. Note that if you get it, IIRC you need to run it in Compatibility Mode, I think I used Win 7 effectively. If you canāt find it anywhere then PM me, I can probably dig up the original Setup file, I must have it somewhere.
Thereās an alternative product by Mountain Utilities that I could never get to work properly. But maybe you can.
I have 3 of these pedals and I love them since I havenāt had any issue with them for around 7-8 years of gigging with them. FWIW I use it with a CME Widi Master going to Bluetooth on my Win 10 machinesā¦ love it, just plug in power on the pedal and play.
