I’m using build 3615 and trying to import a preset file into Hammond B-3X with a .CantabileProgram extension and I get the error “Failed to pass data to core”. Is this something new that has been added after 3615?

Yes. The Cantabile Program Extensions were implemented in a later version. 3632 and later.
