I have C3 installed on two separate Windows partitions, “test” and “live”.
Is there a simple and safe way to export C3 preferences (especially input / output ports) and import them to the other installation?

All those settings are stored in the settings.json file which you can locate via Tools -> Open Settings Folder.
You might also like to move the settings folder to a more convenient location:

eg: you could move it to dropbox/google sync/microsoft drive folder automatically mirror settings across machines.
Note however you’ll need to have the exact same configuration on each machine to simply move that file to another machine and have it work. This file stores all Cantabile’s global settings, including file/folder locations, vst paths, audio/MIDI hardware configuration etc…
