Entering a position and moving to it in C4

Hey folks,

again, I may be blind: Is there a way to enter a song position and let Cantabile move to that position in the transport? I am trying to change bindings from musical to real time format, and for that it d be extremely helpful if i could somewhere enter

45 1.283

and have the cursor just be exactly there.

My plan then would be to establish ANOTHER binding in real time format at “use current position” and erase the musical time format binding afterwards. Hence I could change the tempo easily without affecting the existing bindings.

So: Can I somewhere enter a song position and then have THAT as my current transport position?

Hi Thomas,

There is no means to do that in Cantabile, sorry. However it might be an idea to flag this for @brad to weigh in on in case there is way to add a feature like that in the bigger scheme.

This currently isn’t possible but shouldn’t be hard to add. I’ve logged it here and will implement it when I’m back at my main dev PC in a couple of weeks (travelling atm).
