Creating outputs connected directly to hardware outs within racks?

Hey guys,

I’ve just built a new hardware rack with multiple outs (my old system just had L/R) I have two racks in my songs to control the gains of sounds coming from the Upper and Lower Keyboards in my rig. They are literally empty with bindings that control the output gain of the rack.

I was wondering (or creating a FR) if it’s possible to create a route within the rack that directly connects to an audio port, rather than creating another output of the rack. The way it is now, I have to go through every song in every show I have these racks in and change the output routing of the rack. If I could do it in the rack itself, it would be a one-time change, save the rack and done.

Let me know if I’m missing something simple… (with my brain, probably)

I think (and I may be mistaken or misunderstanding) you need to make sure you have “Environment Audio and MIDI Ports in Racks” enabled under Options->Miscellaneous. You will then see whatever your configured Audio Ports are within the rack (therefore bypassing the Rack Output port and routing directly to your hardware ports as configured in “Audio Ports” in Options if that makes sense)…

Is that what you are looking for?
