Hi @brad, you should have a crash report for this. Let me know if you want more logging detail etc. No problem with Pianoteq 9. Thanks
Hi @johncarter
I’ve had a look a this and it looks like a crash in the plugin itself and I’m wondering if this is specific to this new Cantabile update or just an issue in the plugin.
- Does this problem happen in Cantabile 43xx?
- Does this problem happen every time in Cantabile 4402?
Brad
Hi @brad, no issue in 43xx. Consistently crashes - simplest repeat case is to insert the plugin into a new song.
Hi @johncarter
OK, thanks. I’ll look into it, but need to get a copy of pianoteq 8 first. Leave it with me.
Brad
I’ve reproduced this issue now… and will look into it in the morning.
Hi @johncarter
Turns out this is related Cantabile’s move to .NET 10. I’m talking to Modartt about it, but suspect this will probably need to be reported to the .NET development team for investigation.
Since I have no idea if any other plugins are affected by this, I’ve reverted Cantabile to .NET 8.
Build 4406 now works with Pianoteq 8.
