While recording in Cantabile 2 solo how do I turn down the input levels without affecting the levels in my monitor speakers. I’m using a Rme babyface pro that allows me to plug my drummers roland drums into external audio input 3 and 4 of babyface pro but it’s too loud in the recording mix but when I turn it down then it’s not loud enough when we’re jamming. I can’t tell if I control levels with cantabile gui or Rme gui. Any ideas? Thanks Dave
Get a sensible level at source for recording, but create your monitor mix in TotalMix - that’s what it is for. TotalMix is the answer to all monitoring prayers!
