I’ve been recording a lot live stuff lately (from quarantine) and I was wondering if there was a way to capture the midi input of a performance in Cantabile and save it to a midi file? It would make it much easier for me to just have the midi file of the performance than trying to record a separate channel of audio (I’m running out of channels on my digital recorder). When I go to mix the live recording in Cubase I can align it with the rest of the tracks and use different instruments or edit the midi or whatever is needed. Does anyone know if midi capture to a file is supported in Cantabile? I’ve been looking through the manual but I don’t see that mentioned unless I’m missing something. Thanks.
