I want to use Cantabile Equlaizer APO to run a HPF and a peaking filter for live VO work that won’t allow me to use my usual ProTools or RX11 plugins for recording (they actually do the recording based on my output). For some reason, the capture device loads fine but I lose it after a while and have to reload it. I also get an error message for the speakers (no details that I could find). I wanted to check to see if I might be missing something in the setup or the config file.
Sounds like a driver/hardware issue. First thing I’d try … swap out USB cables.

Have you checked your USB hub power settings to ensure that they are not set to allow Windows to suspend them? You can check this by looking at each USB device in Device Manager, and if it has a power management page, then check it.
