Cantabile crashes when trigger writes to on screen keyboard CC

Hi,

Triggering a binding using a note 57 source. Target is “MIDI port”—> “On screen keyboard” —> “CC 0 on channel 1”.

Mapper is set to command to value. Value is set as 0.

When binding is triggered by note 57, cantabile crashes.

Any ideas why this is happening?

PS: Goal is to store a value when a trigger fires, so another trigger can use the stored value as a condition in a trigger expression. For reasons too complex to go into here, can’t use modifiers; I’m using modifiers for something else.

It sounds like the expression might be a place to look, can you post a screen shot of the binding with the expression fully visible?

Thanks dave_dave. Turns out I didn’t have the internal midi port activated and the input port routed to the onscreen keyboard. That fixed the issue.
