Cantabile and Audacity Interference

Have any of my fellow users experienced an issue where Audacity stops working as soon as Cantabile starts. The display in Audacity says “playing,” but the cursor doesn’t move, and no sound comes out.

Is it possible Cantabile has told the system… “All Mine!”

I’m running WIN10 64 and the newest version of Cantabile.

Are you using WASAPI or ASIO? If it’s WASAPI check that C3 is set to shared.

ASIO only allows one app at a time in my experience.

Thanks… that was the issue.

Interesting thing is that on my WIN7 box, I can run both. at the same time under ASIO. There is definitely a latency issue with WASAPI. I guess I need to remember to flip back and forth, depending on what I’m doing.
