Our drummer keeps pretty good time but there are some songs I would like to use the Cantabile metronome to keep the pace precise. I’m thinking this would work if I can send the preset metronome bpm out on the left channel and the rest of my Cantabile sounds out on the right channel. The metronome signal would then go to one channel in the sound board, and my racks/plugins would be routed to a different board channel. The board’s metronome channel would then go to the drummer’s aux channel in his ear buds while the Right channel goes to the FOH. Can the metronome be assigned this way?
