Background Rack behavoir

A bit of background. Catabile version 4 build 4302
linked rack is Steinberg, HALion Sonic Version: 7.1.40.846

The object is to map a sustain pedal configured to send CC63 (Omni) to Cantabile linked rack CC64 (Channel 1).

I’m having some strange affects with this specific binding in my background rack. It seems manifest its self in two distinct ways

Case 1:
I can sucesfully add the folowing binding:

And in the background rack:

Now when I exit Cantabile and return to the Background rack I see this:

Case 2:
THis concerns the same binding

In song ‘A’, with the binding active [that is before I exit cantabile], I can see the binding indicator turning green (LED like light) in the background rack view and also can see the MIDI messages being sent to the linked rack

However, in an alternative song (song ‘B’) which is using the same linked rack. I can again see the indicator turning green in the background rack view, but I cannot see any MIDI messages being sent to the same linked rack:-

I’m getting similar behavior and I think it is a bug. I am flagging @brad to look at this. Thanks for reporting it. :slight_smile:

i have to say thank you again. I’ve worked with networks and software suppliers for 40+ years, I don’t I’ve ever had a bug fixed within 24 weeks let alone 24 hours. This is amazing response, I owe you all a beer or three, cheers and thanks again. ../Steve
