I purchased B-Beat player, an all in on system that can do pretty much the same as Cantabile in a basic way, but more secure.
I’m trying to switch the songs and have them synced.
I’ve read here some info.
Now, On what channel should I send my midi PC and where can I define this?
Torsten has created a MIDI over ethernet package that may be of some help. You can send the program change from a different software, like Logic, into Cantabile to change songs. I use it in Cantabile to change the lyrics prompter screen for the singer. The system can do different banks or sets of songs to exceed the 128 programs barrier.
For Cantabile song selection via MIDI PG change you need to use bindings so you can use any MIDI channel by setting it in the Source area of the binding (to match your controller MIDI send channel) and setting the song or parts change you desire in the target area of the binding.
Yep, that would work but i see you have it in a rack. You could also place it in the background rack and use the direct port from your B-Beat player you set up in options for the source. e.g.
