Audio In always on audio out, empty song

Hi All,

these maybe a rather basic question, but I do not get it resolved. I have my audio out from my digital piano (Yamaha P-525) connected to my audio interface audio in (UR22C).
Now with Cantabile not started and the Input/DAW know fully to DAW I do not get any sound on the speaker. As soon as I start Cantabile, empty song I have the input directed to the output. I can only suppress that by turning down the Global Input, but then I cannot use the input at all.

I would like to use the Yamaha P525 sounds by directing the main microphone (connected to the UR22C audio in) to the main speakers.
My empty song looks like below, you can see the input on Global Input as I played a chord on my keys.

audio configuration looks like this:

Unfortunately no reactions yet. This is a serious issue and would limit the use of Cantabile. Maybe I’m missing something really basic, but I do not believe it is supposed to work like this.
Any reactions would be appreciated very much.

Sorry @Joop,

I have some trouble trying to understand what you are trying to achieve and what the problem is.
What I notice, though, is that audio is coming out from the “Mic OUT” port which is connected to “UR22C Mix L”. Is this how it is intended to be?

If the problem is that audio is going through when it shouldn’t, I would check that “Mic out” setting first.

Uuuh, looks like a bad mistake, Mic Out is from some trial I did time ago and did not delete this . Apparently I got blind for that. I’m not at my machine now, change is in later today, but this is probably the cause. Many thanks for the help!
