because a crash of my systemdisk I had to replace it and rebuid windows (11).
Also rebuild the cantabile racks etc.
Now when I start cantabile at some point it crashes. Next time I start it evrything seems to be ok.
Every time tis same sequence. I suspect a vst is causing this behaviour. Is there some logging I can activate to find out easily what is causing the failure?

you can access the log files by relaunching Cantabile and selecting the menu Tools->Open Setting Folder
In that folder, the log file you are looking for is log-previous.txt (because the log.txt file refers to the currently running instance of Cantabile).

Yep found it! thnx.
Few days ago I installed a new vst. Cantabile recognized it and added the plugin. but apparently then the problem started. In the log I saw Cantabile crashed with an exception while loading plugins. The next time it didnt and I saw in the log that new vst was the 1st one after the exception but now without problem. Strange, but after I did a full scan in Cantabile of all VST’s the issue disappeared. All is ok now!
