Educ. high school music teacher, and medium level church organist.
Working as amateur choir leader and church organist.
Using Cantabile Solo for live playing during services in a setup with 3 keyboards and a 25 keys pedalboard for playing church organ music with Hauptwerk organ software. Since 2019 I have combined the organ with Violin/viola, trumpet, saxophone, flute, oboe and bassoon as solo from SWAM as solo instruments, played with my right hand and using a breath and bite controller (from www.tecontrol.se) which allows extremely convincing and authentic phrasing. Since 2021 I even started skipping the organ sounds on this setup (we are talking about music for services) and accompying with piano or concert harp sound instead, with doublebass sound with my feet. To turn sounds on and off, I use keystroke bindings on a small computer keyboard, and + and - buttons on one of the keyboards. Volume on the active instrument is adjusted by turning knobs on the same keyboard. Mostly it can work even without using myKorg nano control or Behringer X-touch mini. The congregation likes this variation in the music of the services. I play traditional compositions and improvise in 1800-hundred Romantic style.
During the first year of the pandemic, I recorded some relaxation music, deliberately only as improvisation. You can hear it on my youtube channel, which also includes two videos showing how I integrate Viola and organ in two classical pieces of Mendelsohn and Alfred Hollins.
