That is a good suggestion, but not really suitable for my situation. It would mean trying to get an extra set of keyboard supports for my STAY stand, which aren’t easily available. At the moment I have my keyboard and my laptop on the stand, using up the supplied sets of supports. As I play in a worship band, I am not keen on being to ostentatious, which gear reaching up to the ceiling!
Sometimes I will need a bass, a pad and a lead, and will often do the bass and pad with my left hand, with the pad sound transposed an octave up, and the bass set to low-note priority, and is probably the best option, but some times I will want the normal keyboard split, and then a second split with a lead sound up at the top end of the keyboard, but the 61 keys is what limits it. ** keys would be much better, but I can’t get a non-weighted one for love nor money. So its sa case of make do and work around the limitations.
