I’m confused why some synth plugins have preset lists (OBXD, ME80), whereas others do not (Dimension Pro, Kontact rack setups…)
Mostly I wish they all did, but given that they don’t I should Probably understand the distinction

Hmmmm not quite…
I originally did that with Kontact before I groked fast song switching. What I found was that Kontakt reloads when you use the pseudo presets, whereas with rack states the switch is effectively instantaneous
I didn’t try it with Dimension yet, but I note using the dropdown in the vst causes a delay if the incoming samp!e is large enough
