I’ve just stumbled upon what looks like a weird bug. In one particular song, if I change the enabled state of a route, move to a different song state, then move back again, the enabled state of the route has reverted to what it was before I changed it. This is different to my other songs, where the enabled state is persisted.
To check I wasn’t going crazy, I even changed the enabled state of a route, hit Save All, and then changed state. And going back to the original state, I see the route’s enabled state has reverted to its original state.
To clarify, here’s a screencast of it. Note that because my screen capture software will only capture one window, when I go up to File->Save All, you don’t see the menu, but basically I’m just clicking Save All.

So strange that it only appears to affect one song. I’ve also tried restarting Cantabile, and the problem remains.

In fact, I’ve just realised that none of the song state behaviour appears to be working. If I change rack faders (which have Output Gain ticked in the state behaviour list), they revert to their original position after changing song state and moving back. Same with rack colour if I tick Colour in the state behaviour list. This particular song seems to not support song states!!!

Could it be that you’ve accidentally de-activated “Automatically update states”?

Aaaaagh, you’re right Torsten, that’s exactly what it is. Switched that back on, and it’s behaving as expected. I think the thing that confused me was that I thought Save All would actually save the currently-set state, but no, you need to explicitly do Update State, or have “Automatically update states” set. Secondly, I think I must have assumed “Automatically update states” was a global thing, because of its placement in the menu like that - didn’t realise it was enabled on a song by song basis.
Thanks Torsten, I thought either I was going mad, or Cantabile had a particularly evil bug! Glad to discover neither are the case!
