The mixers mqpping sounds flexible.
Agreed aux sends are a routung capability but extremely useful to have that on a mixer. A virtual output knob common to each channel that can be routed to a rack with fx plugins would make fx arrangement/ deployment so logical and simple.
@Brad What I’m thinking of for MCU’s track controls is a binding source of, say "MCU Fader #1’ as a binding source name. No need to ‘learn’ it.
I have many hardware controllers (BCN44, BCF2000, 5 PC1600x, StreamDeck (pedal, +, xl, mini and standard), ElectraOne MK2 to name a few). I like the idea of a “standard mixer” that could be filled with whatever parameter is needed and then assigned to the hardware of choice. I have many unit that use LUA and even if I’m a very bad at it, if Cantabile were to implement LUA script, that would be another good reason for me to dive into that more seriously!
