Pink Floyd rototoms VST - Royotoms

Nice job. If you could get a more vintage bass tone with exactly the same playing it would sound more like Floyd. Maybe just roll the bass tone back? I’m not sure your goal was to do that so I’m not posting this as an improvement suggestion.

You should check out the big Hammond thread here. It’s tons of fun to read. We did Us and Them a while back for an open mic and the GSI VB3 1.4 nailed the tone. .

Wow, http://alanvista.com/ is awesome.
I quite like this in the VibroMaster description:
“Ugly GUI.”

And the original samples plus more: http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/index.html

Sup Derek, cheers from Brasil! Any chance u still have those Nick Mason drum samples?

Hi,

The BFD Rototoms I have are commercially licensed/purchased, so I cannot share.

However, I just checked the the free ROTOTOM VST mentioned at the top of the thread that @dsteinschneider had discovered, and they are still available.

I love the Royotoms, that’s the sound. If you want something a little nastier sounding, maybe closer to the Terry Bozzio Missing Persons sound the Drums of Hansa expansion pack for Superior has rototoms that sound good too, hit harder in a live room.
