Multiple Independent Controllers

Ok, I am back on the project again of finding a way to use multiple controllers, each with their own group of sounds. The setup is 1) weighted 88 acting primarily as a piano, 2) a non-weighted 88 or 76 keyboard set up as a split (bass + whatever) and 3) an AX7 keytar, an effective total of four controllers. I want each to have their own bank of sounds which can be selected independently. Patch changes would be initiated by via the instruments or a Novation Launchpad. When not selected the instruments should be muted so as to not use up CPU horsepower. I’m experimenting with the demo version so I need to figure this out relatively quickly.

Is there any combination of midi-filters, bindings and sub-sessions that would allow this? Is this something that could only be done in version 3?

Cantabile 3 is definitely better suited for this kind of setup.

With v3 you can setup racks where each rack is effectively an entire session. So you can load a bunch of sounds into each rack, setup bindings to switch sounds and then put each of these racks into one song file and route your different controllers to different racks and each can be independently controlled.
