I’ve not found a better alternative than Circlys yet.
RaxNTrax added CC controllers and pitchbend recording to Circlys.
But, alas, no means to edit, just overdub or retake.
Wow! I once again have completed the full circle and I’m still looking for a solid midi-looping vst!
I’m going to revisit Circlys but I’ve recently dabbled with Giada as a live looping solution - it has bugs though and is nowhere near the quality level of Cantible.
What I’m looking for is a plugin/software option to record midi input and loop it based on the Host BPM and route the midi loops to different VST plugins.
I can do this in Ableton Live 9, however, the way Ableton is designed ramps up the latency pretty fast with only a few VSTs loaded.
This seems to be an area of VST where there is an opportunity to provide a pioneering solution!!!
Anyone have any new suggestions?
