I have a rack with many synth plugins. I want to send differing amounts from each plugin to my effects rack which resides outside this particular rack. I was able to do this before by having one send go to Main Speaker and two others going to my Delay and Reverb racks.
But now I’ve incorporated the Master Output rack (which goes out to Main Speaker).
Now I’ve lost the flexibility within my Synths rack. Does anyone know of any work arounds?
Hi RedSurfer,
Were these routes you describe (Main Speaker and Delay and Reverb) inside the rack on each plugin or outside the closed rack in it’s output route section? Thanks
Dave
Both.
Inside the Synth rack each plugin has:
Stereo Out----Output Port-Rack: Stereo Out
Stereo Out----Output Port-Rack: Delay
Stereo Out----Output Port-Rack: Reverb
Outside the Synth rack:
Stereo Out----Master Output-Stereo In
Stereo Out----Delay-Echoboy
Stereo Out----Reverb-Valhalla VintageVerb
Master Output rack----Stereo Out----Output Port-Main Speakers
Thank-you
Ok, where do the outputs from the delay and reverb audio routes go, to Main Speaker or Main Output rack?
The outputs from the Delay and Reverb racks both feed into the Master Output rack. Nothing goes directly to Main Speakers (except the Master Output rack)
I think I stumbled onto the solution.
I created 2 stereo audio outs in the Synth rack (Rack Audio Ports)
Called Delay and Reverb
Now this is how it looks:
Outside the Synth rack:
Stereo Output----Master Output-Stereo In
Delay----Delay-Echoboy
Reverb----Reverb-Valhalla VintageVerb
Thanks for your input, Dave
Hi RedSurfer,
Good to know you got it, and good to see you over here at the site …
Dave
Thanks Dave!
I read the site almost daily. It’s a treasure trove of information. I’ve learned a lot here and it’s probably one of the most civilized forums I’ve seen. If I have anything worth contributing, I shall.
