Hot backup, midi communication?

Interesting example, but this addresses MIDI connection from two computers to one MIDI device, sending MIDI data to the mixer.

This discussion is about computers generating audio data (and sending it to a mixer) and receiving MIDI data from one or more MIDI keyboards.

So although interesting, unfortunately not applicable here. And you don’t need something like BomeBox to use a keyboard with multiple PCs - a simple MIDI splitter is sufficient.

you could do precision work with one of these and a little flux.
