Heads up - Win 10 Anniversary Edition update messes up licenses

Just as a heads-up to everybody: installing the Windows 10 update to Anniversary Edition just messed up a number of my product authorizations, namely

  • Cantabile (had to re-authorize)
  • XLN Audio Addictive Keys: had to remove authorization (computer ID changed) and re-authorize
  • Korg legacy collection (had to re-authorize every individual instrument)

@brad: if you get a number of authorization requests from existing users over the next days, this is probably the reason.

Cheers,

Torsten

There are a couple of threads on this in the Korg Legacy forum. If you scroll to the bottom of this one, there is a step by step on what to do:

Hi Steffen,

hmm, that’s an interesting one - didn’t look like that for me… Looks like an unregistered or corrupted font issue - have you tried re-installing the plugins?

Cheers,

Torsten

Thanks for the link Bartok2112! The steps worked perfectly

Yep. Took my licenses right out. Problem is that I need to use Cantabile tomorrow for a gig.

I just sent you another one. Can’t find the original email for the life of me … and I’m very good about saving stuff like that.

Signed into the portal, and got it! Thanks Brad!!
