Cantabile 3 VS 4 Performance

Is there any meaningful difference in performance between cantabile 3 vs 4 for basic use? I read the release notes and installed cantabile 4, but I’m not confident in reading/understanding the latency/performance metrics.

Is there a quick summary somewhere on any downsides to cantabile 4 vs 3, or is it a straight upgrade in every way?

Not big differences, anyway you can keep installed both v3 and v4 at the same time to do comparison.

Some users consider v4 to be slightly heavier than v3.

In my experience, this is not the case, but my Songs/Racks are not too complicated.

I have a Dell 3418 “2 in 1” touch screen with i3 4010U 1.7Ghz, 8GB and 1TB SSD that’s borderline power wise. I only use it for piano, epiano and organ. At first, I thought v4 taxed the computer slightly more than v3 but ended up switching anyway and it seems to operate about the same.
