They finally broke me down, and I accepted a gig for this week. First gig this year. I am more than ready. It may turn into a weekly thing, 3hrs, 3-piece band. No rehearsal…just winging it with 2 pros.

My gig last night went really well. Played with a 3-piece throw together, and winged it all night. The restaurant/club is an “upper crust” type place…no masks, no problems. It felt strange, but normal as before. We played everything from jazz, to soul, to rock, to country. I even managed to throw in a couple of Booker T & the MGs. The B3-X sounded great! Made quite a bit of cash for 3 sets, and made it home by 10PM. I feel…normal again.
