Add ability to move Media Player pointer in slaved players

Cantabile allows me to move the playback cursor in the waveform display of slaved Media Players, but when released it snaps back to the current playback position and ignores the attempt. In the ‘master’ Media Player it works as expected.

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve been looking at the wrong waveform and can’t move the playback cursor unless I go back and find the master waveform!

Please consider adding the ability to move the playback pointer when displaying the waveform of slaved players.

Bumpity bump!

Am I the only one who would find this useful?

It would be. I’ve lost count of the number of times I have tried to move the cursor and it snaps back because I am in a slave. I have a MIDI track as my master, but if I wish to quickly reposition a song, it is often easier to look at an audio file which are set as slave files.

Yes, I’ve done it countless times today alone. I have rehearsal stems that make it easy to see where I am in the song, but it’s never the master!

Logged here. I’ll try to get to it in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks, Brad. It’s that kind of response that keeps the faith!
