I read a review of the Korg M1 app which suggested using a transient shaper such as Waves Trans-X to give extra sparkle and body to some of M1 keyboard sounds. Has anyone used Trans-X or a similar plugin for this purpose?
Trans-X is a transient designer, it deals mostly with the attack of a sound, kinda like a specializef compressor. However due to the involved look ahead technology all transient designers I know of incur significant latency so I wouldn’t recommend using them in a live situation.
