Indeed. That issue I had was with the PC in flight safe mode. The lesson learnt was it must have downloaded an update weeks before, and IT decided to install at a time of maximum inconvenience to me. So my “one week in flight mode before a gig” buffer was not enough. Microsoft forcing updates on you is madness. Looks like they may be relenting on that now, but I am going to go W10 PRO anyway to make sure it is back on my schedule and not theirs!
