With my first gig coming up I tackled the task of setting up something to allow a band member to talk between the songs.
Cantabile has made it simple, flexible and robust!
One rack with the mic input, effects and output. It has its own bindings to turn its plugins on and off with buttons on my keyboard.
Then add that rack to each song…done.
The best bit is that with everything preloaded I can switch song whilst the mic is live without any glitches.
And although I only need one mic, I could easily set up buttons to turn other mics on in the same rack.
