Program Transport buttons on M-Audio Code Series

Hi everybody,

I had problems in using the transport buttons of my controller M-Audio Code61. The controller has no documentation to the outputs. If anyone else should have the same problems here’s the solution:

Short version:

  1. Make sure the controller is in Mackie-Mode (not HUI)
  2. The transport buttons are only sent via output 3. So you have to add the MIDIIN3 in C3.
  3. Now you can add bindings (e. g. in global rack) for the play/stop buttons. (The controller sends notes)
